Best class have started their writing this year with an autobiography about the climate activist Vanessa Nakate. Vanessa is a Ugandan female who has inspired a whole continent to take stock on the climate issues.

She went from being the first to then being ignored from the world stage and finally becoming a recognised as one of the most influential Africans of the year 2022. We have written in the style of an autobiography and used a range of Year 6 level features. You might spot our conjunctions of time, place and cause. You might also spot some great relative clauses and also a colloquialism or two!
