Our vision statement for music at St George's is:

Be inspired.

Be dynamic. 

Pupils across Key Stage 2 were inspired by our secondary partners, Deptford Green. 

Our Christmas Nativity performance rehearsals are well on the way, and last week we were fortunate to have a little extra professional singing practice. Mr Hill  and Ms Green who lead Music at Deptford Green Secondary School came to help us extend our musical composition. The session started with a warm up  of both vocals and body, practiced the song 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas" with and without harmonies.

All children in KS2 had fun learning new harmonies and singing together to musical accompaniment (guitar and keyboard). Next week, they will return to work with Y3 and Y6 on their solo performances.
