Tull Class Cricket

This week, Year 4 started their half term of cricket lessons with their coach, John!

Tull class really enjoyed their first cricket session with coach John. First, we practiced catching skills working on coach's top tips of cupped hands, bent position and watching the ball. The childen revised the key elements to a cricket game, before playing a full game. Children had turns batting and fielding. Our PE vision is:

Be passionate.

Be respectful.

Be determined.

Children were very passionate playing the game, respectful to the other team and determined to get as many runs as possible or catch their opponents out! We are excited to spend the rest of the half term improving our skills. Children have also been offered additional cricket sessions held at Forest Hill School, which they brought information home about this week.
