On a beautiful Wednesday morning, 4 children for years 5 and 6 went to Ladywell Fields tennis courts, where they took part in the Orange tennis competition, held by Lewisham School Games. 

Be passionate. 

Be respectful. 

Be determined.

As our previous topic was tennis, the 4 competitors were keen and ready to compete, putting together all the key parts of tennis that they had learnt into a competitive situation. For some, this was their first tennis tournament, but this did not stop them showing great determination and passion and coming up with some fantastic results. 

Well done to all 4 players, who represented St George's proudly and came 4th overall. A special mention to Otis, who won 3 out of his 4 matches!  

I am sure we have a future Wimbledon Champion here!
