In the summer term, the Head Coach from Old College Lawn Tennis Club came to St George's to run a one-off tennis lesson for years 4 and 5.

From that, he selected some lucky children to attend the summer camps in August.

All the coaches were so impressed by the St George's players and a lucky few were asked to come back in the October half-term, as a try out to get a scholarship for regular training in the Spring Term. This was an incredible opportunity and it was great to see them back at the tennis camps to build on their skills.

As always, the St George's pupils represented the school brilliantly and were great ambassadors, meeting our PE curriculum vision statement that we pride ourselves on.
