On Wednesday 19th November, our School Council and Pupil Leaders organised a special Jamaica Fundraising Day to support families affected by Hurricane Melissa.

On Wednesday 19th November, our School Council and Pupil Leaders organised a special Jamaica Fundraising Day to support families affected by Hurricane Melissa.

This week, our school celebrated Anti-Bullying Week with the theme “Power for Good.” The children explored how we can use our power positively, for example, the power to be kind and supportive to others.

Today we celebrated Odd Socks Day, marking the start of Anti-Bullying Week. Students and staff proudly wore mismatched socks to celebrate what makes each of us unique and to remind everyone that our differences are what make our school community so special.

It has been an exciting and busy week at St George’s as we elected our new pupil leaders for 2025–2026.

Years One to Six set off for St George's Church this week to celebrate Harvest Festival.

On Thursday 10th October 2024, we joined thousands of schools across the UK supporting World Mental Health Day by wearing something yellow.

Today, we donned our PJs and celebrated reading for Pyjamarama!

Today, Year 3 completed their Lenten Fundraising Challenge, decorating beautifully detailed mandalas in reflective silence.

We are very lucky to have a dedicated library space within our school run by very keen Librarians.
This week, St George's Librarians ran a cake sale and a raffle fundraiser. Money raised will be used to purchase new books to enhance the library's collection.

Best Class visited the Imperial War Museum this week to close off their history topic!

In line with our spiritual pathway of Confrontation, Year 3 are being Brave standing up for what they believe in. Even if that means writing a formal letter of complaint to Rishi Sunak himself!

Weeks like Anti-Bullying Week give us the opportunity to learn how we can stay physically and mentally healthy and stay safe, as well as supporting others to do so too.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in Odd Socks Day this week.
We pride ourselves on being courageous advocates and supporting others. Today we supported Children in Need and lived out our vision statement: Be brave. Be great. Be you.
