Miss Khan attended the Parliament Teacher Ambassador Programme at Westminster, becoming part of a national cohort of teachers working to achieve accreditation with the Parliament Education Team.

Year 1 Jemison Class had a fantastic trip to the Horniman Museum as part of our science topic, Animals Including Humans π§ͺπ.

Year 4 visit the Science Museum!

A few weeks ago, we were delighted to welcome families to our wonderful Arts Fair, and what a fantastic event it was! The school was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated creativity across all year groups.

At the end of this half term, five children from each class were invited to enjoy a special Golden Table lunch with their teacher. π This reward recognised pupils who have consistently gone above and beyond in their behaviour and attitude, impressing their teachers throughout the half term.

On 11 November, our whole school community came together in the hall for our annual Remembrance Day Service.

This week, our school celebrated Anti-Bullying Week with the theme “Power for Good.” The children explored how we can use our power positively, for example, the power to be kind and supportive to others.

Today we celebrated Odd Socks Day, marking the start of Anti-Bullying Week. Students and staff proudly wore mismatched socks to celebrate what makes each of us unique and to remind everyone that our differences are what make our school community so special.

This week at St George’s, we came together as a school to think about the importance of looking after our mental health.

On Thursday, we held our second annual Celebration of Arts Festival! There was music, dance, song and, of course, beautiful installations enjoyed in the perfect sunshine.

On Wednesday, year 2 and year 3 participated in a school concert with different schools in the Lewisham borough.

On Thursday 4th July, 8 children went to Wimbledon to watch the tennis!

Once again, St George's answered the Call from the Bishop of Southwark to raise funds for a number of charitable causes around the world.
Today, everyone from Year 1 to Year 6 marched to Church for our annual Easter Service.
Our Spring term home learning exhibitions took place in classes this week.

Year 5 completed their drama workshops and completed their final performances of Little Red Riding Hood.

This week, we celebrated all things Science from Nursery to Year 6!

Our year 6 Little Leaders have been helping run fun games and activities for our Fit4Life club.

With the deadline for Year 5 pupils to commit to our Residential next year, we asked Year 6 to lead assembly and let us know all about the fun to be had at PGL!
