Reception have really lived up our vision of Be an Explorer. Be a trier. Be a talker. Be a Creator. They have thoroughly enjoyed learning about wild animals this week as part of our topic 'Animals'.
In Year 5, we have been practising different jumps in gymnastics.

We are so excited to announce our new class names! The final decision was down to class teachers and their classes. School Council Representatives announced the names in Celebration Worship this morning.

This week we have said a warm welcome to our wonderful new Wellbeing Ambassadors! These are children that have been nominated by their teachers for their outstanding commitment to kindness, persistence and having amazing growth mindsets.

Year 4 have had an exciting first week back engaging in discussions about our new Christian value for this half-term, tolerance.
In Year 6, we have started back on our geography journey by delving into the world... literally with the structure of the Earth.
Shakespearean plays, black heroes, Edward Lear limericks, and tales of Peter Rabbit: our first set of whole class reading texts are fantastic this half term!
Although we have been back in nursery for only a couple of days, the children have been very busy starting work on their new topic: 'Bears'.
